As a trainer I have found kettlebells to be the single best conditioning tool available. As someone who has trained and competed in distance cycling, bodybuilding and powerlifting I've had the chance to use different modes of exercise, but none approaches the Russian kettlebell. The results for most people are both exciting and gratifying, and few will be satisfied with anything else once they've used kettlebells. Other adjunct equipment (ropes, pullup bars, stretch bands etc) completes the tool kit.
